It’s leaves are purposely guarded from the sun for the first 20-40 days of it’s life in order to provoke the highest level of chlorophyll production. The leaves are then deveined, and stems removed before stone mills ground it down to this beautiful fine powder. That means, each time you drink it, you’re getting pure leaves!
